DIY: High Protein Breakfast


A lot of us skip breakfast on work days without realising how it can actually affect weight loss, mood swings and concentration level. A high protein breakfast is surely gonna keep you feeling fuller longer and eating less throughout the day. 

So how about treating yourself with some yummy breakfast that could be put together in a jiffy also on a work day.

This is a pretty simple breakfast of fried eggs,canned beans (Heinz) and mushrooms. For mushrooms I have sautéed them with a little butter and garlic and sprinkled some freshly grind black pepper. You can use either the widely available canned ones or fresh ones.

  1. You might want to read up a little on canned beans next time before you add them to your plate! I love them too but stopped them since heard about some health hazards associated with canned foods!

  2. Yeah I agree, but this is a quick fix for mornings when you are running late. Nevertheless I am also against canned foods but love baked beans. I have a recipe for baked beans which tastes similar to Heinz, will share it soon :)
